Cataract Surgery

I had cataract surgery on May 8 and 15, and am still recovering. I am functioning well, but full recovery without glasses has been challenging. However, full recovery time is 90-100 before we know how it all turned out. I am using the new "accomodative" Crystallens to replace the aging, malfunctioning natural lenses. I hope to be back in full swing by the end of June, if indeed people get back into full swing these days.

Having Cataract Surgery After Having Had LASIK Surgery

Has anyone had cataract surgery after having had LASIK surgery in the past? I have cataracts now, and had LASIK surgery in 2000. I am being told that there is an issue with getting the right correction for the corrective lenses implanted during cataract surgery, if one had LASIK before. I also understand that some doctors maintain they have solved the problem, but their views might be controversial within the ophthalmology profession. If anyone has any relevant feedback on this, please feel free to blog away about it. Thanks very much.
